What is Restylane®?
Restylane is the world’s top dermal filler, formulated with the same naturally occurring compound—hyaluronic acid—that is produced by the human body to provide shape to the eyes, firmness to the skin, and lubrication to the joints. Restylane is FDA approved to fill in scars, grooves, dents, lines and folds and to temporarily correct wrinkles.
Each Restylane product is a clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid that can attract and bind to water molecules to help maintain volume. Restylane effectively increases the volume of the skin by re-establishing connective tissue.

Each Restylane product we offer is a clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid. We have different versions of Restylane, each one designed to specifically act like your body's own naturally produced hyaluronic acid. These different products work for targeted applications to your face, and include:

Restylane Treatment Areas
A Restylane treatment takes about 30 minutes. During the treatment, your chosen Restylane product is injected into the skin with a very fine needle. The gel creates volume under the wrinkle or hollow, which helps to instantly reduce moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds visible on the face. Areas treated with Restylane include:
- Laugh lines (nasolabial folds)
- Marionette lines
- Corners of the mouth
- Sunken temples and cheeks
- Nasal contouring
- Ear lobes
Restylane-L® and Restylane® Silk are the only products that are FDA-approved to improve lip lines and for lip enhancement for patients over 21.
Candidates for Restylane
Good candidates for Restylane:
- Are over 21 (over 18 for nasolabial folds)
- Are not pregnant or breastfeeding
- Are not taking any blood thinners
- Are not allergic to lidocaine (if using Restylane-L, Restylane Silk, or Perlane-L)
- Do not have bleeding disorders
